Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi believes that all the teams that have participated in the African Nations Championship have been more than competitive and those that have not gone through to the knockout stage have been unfortunate. Keshi spoke highly of their quarterfinal adversary Morocco who they will lock horns with at the Cape Town Stadium on January 25.......

Keshi also revealed that his team were under no pressure in this tournament even though they are the reigning African Champions and said that they were here to gain experience for their fringe players........

Keshi celebrated his 52nd birthday and speaking from their team training this afternoon, Keshi said he was extremely humbled by the birthday wishes from his compatriots especially the messages on social media. Keshi says the only birthday gift he will be expecting from his team is to make their country happy......

Keshi made it known that he had been given no mandate for the tournament and besides giving players exposure to international football he was hopeful that a handful of players can play their way into the national team for the upcoming Fifa World Cup in Brazil......Journalist: Vata Ngobeni
